E-Phys is proud to announce the release of its first peer reviewed publication in a recent issue of the Journal of Physiology (London): Allard J (2019), Physiological properties of the lamina I spinoparabrachial neurons in the mouse, Apr;597(7):2097-2113; doi: 10.1113/JP277447. The measure of responses of duly identified lamina I spinoparabrachial neurons in the anesthetized mice is now a routine experiment at E-Phys. We are currently investigating the changes that occur in pathophysiological conditions in this population of neurons recognised to be essential for the generation of acute and chronic pain sensation. We look forward to assess analgesic drug candidates in this experimental model.
We are now able to record from individual unmyelinated nociceptors in the dorsal root ganglia (DRG) in the anesthetized mice (E-Phys-DRG nociceptors-repeated noxious stimulations). Feel free to Contact us for more details.
